Pad printing
Pad printing
Pad printing, is a system of marking indirectly through the transfer of ink using a tampon or silicone rubber. It is ideal for printing parts with deformations (curved or rough), with plenty of definition.
Ideal for complex surfaces
Printing on curved surfaces and rough.
Detailed process of printing
Ink in clisé, applied with buffer.
Precision and versatility in colors
Accurate impression of characters and colors.
The method consists in:
Put ink on the clisé (hollow engraving on a steel plate), which is swept by the racla, (steel strip very fine), leaving only the ink inside the embossing or hollow engraving. The buffer, which is generally made with silicone, descends on the clisé picking up the ink that remained in the gravure, then apply it on the object to be printed. This technique can be printed with precision and delicacy, small characters, fine cuts, among other techniques. Even in different movements of the print colors, even managing to print a pre – print of a color photograph
