Screen printing
Silk screen printing is the process of pressing ink through a mesh screen printed to create a printed design. It is a popular technique that is used in a wide range of different industries, so even if you've never heard of the term, you've probably used a product screen-printed at some point without even realizing it.
Screen printing is an effective technique to create all kinds of garments and customized products. The three main elements involved in the process are photolithograph, the screens and the inks. These are the ones who determine the final costs. How many more colors to have your design, the more photosites, screens and inks will come into play, and the greater will be the costs.

Ideal for garments and products of your choice.
Key elements of the process
Photolithograph, screens and inks determine results.
Versatile
Ubiquitous in various industries, from fashion to advertising.
Photolithograph
A film is a cliché (negative) photo printed on paper, transparent or translucent such as the acetate or polyester, which is typography and images that we want printed. The film is used as the template for a subsequent stamping, attaching it to the screen through the process of heat stroke and revealed.
Images to be printed, in order to obtain a good film, must be vector graphics. Vector graphics are digital images where the outline and colouring is done through mathematical equations. Unlike the common images that are bitmaps and therefore are formed by pixels, vectors can be scaled without reaching pixelate ever, it also allows you to move, stretch and distort images of relatively easy way.
Screens
The Screen is a framework of metal or wood with a fine mesh fabric stretched over the top. Traditionally, this mesh was made with silk, but today it has been replaced by polyester fabrics, which offer the same performance for a lower price. The thickness and the number of threads of the mesh can be chosen to suit the texture of the surface or cloth that is printed, with smaller spaces between the threads which allow for greater detail in the print.
Once the screen has been coated with emulsion and exposed, it is ready to be used as a template. Once the process of screen printing, can be washed and reused.
Inks
Choose an ink involves much more than just choosing a color. There are many inks specialty that can be used to create different effects in the finished product. For example, a printer, you can use inks bright, inks and textured inks swollen (which is expanded to create a raised surface) to create a look or feel unique. The printer will also take into account the type of tissue that is to be printed, as some inks will work better on certain materials than others.
The print clothing, the printers use a type of ink that can be washed in the washing machine once it has been heat-treated and shaped. This produces an article of long duration that will not fade and can be used time and time again.
